HAGL General Director Nguyen Van Su said the 10 million USD programmeaims to gradually improve material and spiritual lives of the localsfrom now until 2016.
On top of this, it will alsocover the construction of community houses, schools, medical stationsand roads, plus free vocational training, and scholarships for studentspursing pedagogy and health care in the Central Highlands provinceof Gia Lai and Kon Tum.
As scheduled, a group of50 doctors and medical workers from the HAGL – Medical UniversityHospital will examine and treat nearly 1,500 locals for free. Thosesuffering from serious diseases will be rushed to a HAGL hospital inPleiku town.
The activity will be held every six months.
The same day, the group granted rice, salt and sugar to 400 poor households in Sre Aung Chhrong commune.
Since 2009, it has invested in rubber and oil palm plantation in Ratanakiri’s districts of Koun Mom, Andong Meas and Oyadaw.-VNA
