At the event (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The Hanoi municipal Department of Industry and Trade presentedthe title of Hanoi artisans and outstanding rural industrial products 2021during a ceremony in the capital city on January 7.
Among 71 productsjoining in the selection, 61 were recognised as outstanding rural industrialproducts.
Speaking at the event,acting Director of the department Tran Thi Phuong Lan said in order supportartisans and craft villages, Hanoi will continue effectively carrying out thenational and Hanoi industrial encouragement programmes, thus creating a newdriving force for the sustainable development of industrial and ruralhandicraft production.
The city will alsomake it easier for rural industrial establishments to access digital economicdevelopment opportunities, improve their competitiveness and effectively joinin global economic integration.
Owners of rural industrial establishments will also be assisted in buildingtechnical demonstration models, technological transfer and use of advancedtechnologies in production, she said.
On the occasion, Hanoipresented the insignia “For the cause of Vietnam’s industry and trade development”to 57 outstanding individuals in recognition of their contributions to thesector./.
