Hanoi fireworks to light up New Year sky

Hanoi is set to ring in the New Year 2025 with spectacular firework displays at five locations and celebrations at 30 venues for the Lunar New Year, or Tet – the biggest holiday of the Vietnamese people.

Firework displays will take place at five locations across Hanoi, including Hoan Kiem, Ha Dong, and Nam Tu Liem districts, as well as Son Tay township and Dong Anh district.

These dazzling shows will illuminate the capital’s sky from midnight to 12:15 AM on January 1, 2025.

On Lunar New Year’s Eve (January 29, 2025), the city will stage fireworks at 30 locations, including high-altitude shows combined with low-altitude displays.

The shows will begin at midnight on January 29, marking the arrival of the Lunar New Year.

In addition to the fireworks, the city has planned various cultural and artistic events.

Highlights include the Hanoi International Light Festival in Tay Ho district on January 18, the Radiant Thang Long 2025 Program in front of My Dinh National Stadium, and the F1 racetrack area on January 28./.
