Hanoi fulfils all targets set for 2017

Hanoi has fulfilled all 20 socio-economic targets of 2017, with seven exceeding the set plan, said Hoang Trung Hai, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee.

Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi has fulfilled all 20socio-economic targets of 2017, with seven exceeding the set plan, said HoangTrung Hai, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee.

Speaking at a meeting of the municipal People’s Committee’s Party Civil AffairsCommittee on December 26, Hai urged the committee to carry forward suchachievements while overcoming limitations and challenges to the work.

“It is a must to draw lessons from political instability in Dong Tam commune,My Duc district, and determine responsibility for a number of build-transfer(BT) projects,” he said.

The official asked the city to further uphold capacity and responsibility ofeach individual in the political system, as well as the role played by Partyorganisations, all-level authorities and social organisations.

More efforts should be channeled into decentralisation in order to turn Hanoiinto a city of integration and complete industrialisation and modernisationprocess, he said. -VNA
