Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi generated jobs for morethan 145,000 labourers during the January-October period, meeting 93.1 percentof the yearly target, figures show.

Of the number, 1,700 people were sent to work abroadin the 10 months.

The Hanoi Centre for Employment Services (SCES)under the municipal Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with the People’sCommittee of the city’s Dong Anh district organised a mobile job transactionsession in the outskirts district on November 1.

Thirty nine units and businesses participating inthe session offered more than 1,500 job positions.

Through such sessions, the centre has helped over10,000 people get jobs so far this year. /.

“I love my fatherland” journey 2026 launched

The “I Love My Fatherland” journey will comprise seven stages linked to historical, cultural and revolutionary sites across the country. The journey will begin in Nghe An on May 16 to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday, before continuing through Hue city, Tuyen Quang–Lung Cu Flag Tower, Dien Bien, Khanh Hoa, Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City, and concluding in Hanoi in October.
