Hanoi International Film Festival to take place in November

The Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF), set for November 7-11, will showcase a selection of Vietnamese and international films, offering a platform for networking between filmmakers from both regions.

From over 500 films registered for participation, HANIFF 2024 has selected 117 feature and short films from 51 countries and territories to compete in various categories.

Among the 11 feature films competing, there is only one Vietnamese film, Once Upon a Time in a Love Story. It has also been chosen as the opening film for the festival on November 7.

There are 19 entries in the short films category, with eight Vietnamese films across documentary, animation, and narrative genres, and 11 international films.

The opening ceremony will take place on November 7, and the closing and awards ceremony will be held on November 11 at the Ho Guom Theater, 40 Hang Bai street./.
