Paris (VNA) – A cyber security solutions contest for public administrative management will take place in Hanoi from September 22-25.

Hosted by the French fund for digital innovation (Fonds francophone pour l' innovation numérique) and the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE), the contest “#RiSk[Solutions]” aims to find vulnerabilities of information security and address such risks.

It will allow young Vietnamese scientists to show skills in cyber attack prevention.

Competitors can register to take part in the contest through the site http://hanoi.risks.solutions until July 15.

The winner will receive 10,000 EUR (11,408 USD), while second and third place will win 6,000 EUR and 4,000 EUR, respectively.

The contest is part of activities within the International Francophone Organisation (OIF)’s 2016 action programme.

According to IOF General Secretary Michaelle Jean, the organisation held an international workshop discussing cyber crime in Cote d’lvoire in February.

During the event, OIF announced its official statement and an action plan, which detailed specific measures to protect cyberspace.

AVSE Vice Chairman Nguyen Hoai Tuong stressed that among OIF member nations, Vietnam is seen as dynamic destination for digital technology development.-VNA
