HCM City (VNA) – A delegation of senior officials of Ho Chi Minh City onMay 19 offered incense and flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Museum’s city branch andHo Chi Minh Statue in the southern city on the occasion of the late leader’s 128thbirth anniversary (May 19, 1890).

The delegation, led by Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam, Vice Secretary of the municipalParty Committee and Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Council, includedleaders of the municipal Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committeeand Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Former Party and State leaders, representatives from departments, sectors andlocalities, and local people also joined the event.

They took a moment to remember the life and career of the late President, whodevoted his life to national liberation and worked tirelessly for peace andprogress across the world.

On the occasion, individuals, organisations and agencies in Ho Chi Minh City paidtribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Museum’s city branch and hisstatue.
