HCM City: various activities mark Party’s founding anniversary

The Standing Board of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has decided to present Party membership badges to 2,611 Party members on the occasion of the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3).

HCM City (VNA) – The Standing Board of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City hasdecided to present Party membership badges to 2,611 Party members on theoccasion of the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party ofVietnam (CPV) (February 3).

To celebrate theParty’s founding anniversary, the city will also organise a grand meeting, aspecial art performance, a photo exhibition and film screenings, among others.

The city has steppedup the communication work to highlight the formation and development of theCPV, the municipal Party Committee, and the development of the city and thecountry as well.

Thebirth of the CPV on February 3, 1930 was an extremely important historicalevent and a significant turning-point in the history of the Vietnameserevolution, marking a brilliant milestone in the country’s development path./.
