Hanoi (VNA) – Regions across Vietnam are forecast to be blanketed in a heat wave, with some places to face extreme heat, on April 3.
According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF), temperatures in the northwestern region hover around 32-34 degrees Celsius. In specific places, there will be heavy rains and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and at night.
Meanwhile, the northeastern region and Hanoi capital experienced light rain, drizzle and fog in the early morning, and the weather will become hotter around noon, with the highest temperature reaching 30 degrees Celsius.
The central, Central Highlands, and southern regions continue to experience the hot weather, with some places to suffer the highest temperature of more than 37 degrees Celsius.
Health experts recommend that people avoid going out from 11am to 2pm daily./.
