Ho Chi Minh City intensifies crackdown on IUU fishing
Vietnam is intensifying efforts to have the European Commission’s (EC) ‘yellow card’ warning on its seafood sector lifted. At the forefront is Ho Chi Minh City, home to one of the country’s largest offshore fishing fleets, which has rolled out stringent and synchronised measures to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
