HCM City (VNA) – Leaders of Ho Chi Minh Cityshared joy with 600 outstanding and poor workers in Suoi Tien Theme Park on February13 ahead of the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s CommitteeLe Thanh Liem presented gifts to workers and listened to their aspirations. He alsovowed to pay further attention to ensuring social welfares for them in the nearfuture.

Participants offered incense to Hung Kings, enjoyed a mealand free games in the park.

Nguyen Hoang Nang, head of the Ho Chi Minh City ExportProcessing and Industrial Zones Authority (Hepza), said it is the 12th time the activity has been held by Hepza and the Suoi Tien Culture TouristCorporation.

This year, Hepza held a number of activities to carefor workers such as spring festival, selling discounted goods and giving gifts worthover 85 billion VND (3.77 million USD) to workers.-VNA

“I love my fatherland” journey 2026 launched

The “I Love My Fatherland” journey will comprise seven stages linked to historical, cultural and revolutionary sites across the country. The journey will begin in Nghe An on May 16 to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday, before continuing through Hue city, Tuyen Quang–Lung Cu Flag Tower, Dien Bien, Khanh Hoa, Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City, and concluding in Hanoi in October.
