Hoi An marks liberation day by culture, tourism events

A week of culture and tourism events will take place in the central ancient city of Hoi An from March 21 to 28 to welcome the 35 th anniversary of the city liberation (March 28, 1975).
A week of culture and tourism eventswill take place in the central ancient city of Hoi An from March 21 to28 to welcome the 35 th anniversary of the city liberation (March 28,1975).

The events will include a meeting, a parade,performances of traditional songs, competitions of decoration, a marchof flower-decorated carriages and a camping, said organisers.

Also included in the week are a gala entitled “Melody of the Time”; agathering of writers, artists and outstanding athletes; women-football,coastal volleyball and net-knitting competitions and a fishing villagefestival.

And especially, the city will switch its lights off from 8:30 to 9:30pm on March 27 to respond to the Earth Hour 2010 campaign together withother cities and regions throughout the world.

Hoi An city, home to ancient streets, is a favourite destination of foreign visitors./.

Vietnamese community in Thailand honours cultural, traditional values

2025 Vietnam Culture Festival held in Osaka

Visitors enjoy Thai environment, lifestyle at Hanoi festival

At the Thai Festival, from March 28 night to March 30 morning in Hanoi, visitors explored typical Thai dishes, along with health care and beauty care products and traditional handicrafts. They also enjoyed traditional dances from many regions of Thailand, tried making Khanom Krok coconut cakes and painting patterns on silk, among other activities.

Book week in Hanoi invites children to the wonderland of British tales
