The “Holland Village 2013” will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from Nov. 22- Dec. 1 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Netherlands diplomatic relations.

The 10-day largest-ever event will feature Dutch houses with their traditional architecture, said Consul General of the Netherlands in HCM City Simon van de Burg.

Visitors can explore information and fun activities, take pictures in the 3D-photozone and taste Dutch food as well as many other activities during the event, which is themed “Trade and sustainability”.

On display are also pictures of the Netherlands’ renowned windmills and wooden clogs as well as its technology advances and modern development.

According to the organisers, some workshops discussing and promoting commerce and wastewater treatment cooperation between the two countries will be held.-VNA
