Honda Vietnam’s motorbike, auto sales up in November

Hanoi (VNA) -
Honda Vietnam reported month-on-month increases of 7 percent and 16 percent in the sales of motorbikes and automobiles in November.

Sales of motorbikes totaled 191,416 during the month. The Wave Alpha was its best-selling manual model, with 30,409 units sold, or 16 percent of the total. The Vision was the most popular scooter, with sales of 42,444 units, or 22 percent.

The company also exported 10,652 motorbikes in November.

The joint venture, meanwhile, delivered 2,018 automobiles during the month, up 16 percent against October.

The CR-V was the hottest domestically-assembled model, with 1,282 units sold, or 64 percent of total sales. The Honda Brio hatchback saw 329 units sold, or 16 percent.

Honda’s November sales of motorbikes and automobiles, however, were down 17 percent and 34 percent year-on-year./.
