Honda Vietnam reported month-on-month increases of 7 percent and 16 percent in the sales of motorbikes and automobiles in November.

Hanoi (VNA) - Honda Vietnamreported month-on-month increases of 7 percent and 16 percent in the sales of motorbikesand automobiles in November.

Sales of motorbikes totaled 191,416 duringthe month. The Wave Alpha was its best-selling manual model, with 30,409 unitssold, or 16 percent of the total. The Vision was the most popular scooter, withsales of 42,444 units, or 22 percent.

The company also exported 10,652 motorbikesin November.

The joint venture, meanwhile, delivered2,018 automobiles during the month, up 16 percent against October.

The CR-V was the hottestdomestically-assembled model, with 1,282 units sold, or 64 percent of totalsales. The Honda Brio hatchback saw 329 units sold, or 16 percent.

Honda’s November sales of motorbikes andautomobiles, however, were down 17 percent and 34 percent year-on-year./.
