Hanoi (VNA) – Representatives of the Hong Kong-based Envision Energy recently paid avisit to Thanh Hoa to discuss a wind power energy project in the centralprovince.

The firm voiced its hopeto build a wind power plant on an area of about 8.7 ha in Hoang Hoa district.

The plant, which isexpected to be built at a budget of 80 million USD, will have a capacity of 50MW. It is projected to generate an average of 129.5 million kWh per year forthe national grid.

If the projectreceives permission, construction of the plant will be started next year and itwill be put into operation in late 2021./.

Outstanding green credit reaches 828 trillion VND

To date, loans subject to environmental and social risk assessments have exceeded 5.1 quadrillion VND (some 193.6 billion USD), representing an almost 25-fold increase compared with the end of 2017 and accounting for 27.7% of total outstanding credit in the economy.
