The Vietnam Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd (Inax Vietnam ) on September 8 pledged an additional one billion VND to a programme sponsoring operations for poor child patients of heart diseases.
Under an agreement signed in Hanoi , the money will used to pay for 40 children suffering from innate heart diseases that require to urgent surgery.
The expense for each operation is expected from 30-35 million VND. The program will be carried out nationwide from this time until 2010.
This is the second time that the company has donated to the programme with a total amount of two billion VND.
The programme, named “Healthy hearts for children” was co-run by Vietnam Television (VTV), the army’s telecom group (Viettel) and the East Meets West Foundation (EMW)./.
