Indonesia launches State-owned holding for tourism

Jakarta (VNA) – Indonesian President
Joko Widodo on January 13 officially launched Injourney Holding, a state-owned holding for tourism and
supporting sectors.
In his televised speech,
Widodo said the key is to make governance more efficient and simpler, and consolidate
SOEs in tourism sector and its supporting sectors, including those in charge of
flights, airport services, hotels, attractions, management of tourist
destinations, retail, and so on.
He added that with 330 million domestic tourists each
year, Indonesia’s tourism potential remains huge.
