Indonesian Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Sharif CicipSutardjo, said that the “Project for Fisheries and Aquaculture for FoodSecurity” is valued at 6.21 million USD.
It will be managed by the Netherlands-based Wageningen University and Research Centre, he added.
The project’s objective is to reduce harmful fishing practices andimprove the quality and standards of fishing in local ports.-VNA
