Accordingto the country’s Minister of Industry Saleh Husin, the delegation fromthe EABA wants more information on the Government’s plans and policiesrelating to the industrial sector to see how they can contribute to thecountry’s development.
According to EABA President Sahala Sianipar, the alliance holds a positive view on the investment policy in Indonesia.
Currently, the EU is the second-largest investor in Indonesia, with atotal investment hitting 3.2 billion USD in 2014, more than its 2.4billion USD amount in 2013.
European companies have created an estimated 1.1 million jobs for Indonesians.
