During Yudhoyono’s visit,the two leaders will hold talks on promoting the two countries’bilateral ties and economic cooperation.
They will also endorse several agreements on trade cooperation, human resource development and investment.
In 2012, two-way trade between Myanmar and Indonesia reached391.08 million USD. Of which, Myanmar’s exports to Indonesiatotalled 40.37 million USD.
Indonesian investment inMyanmar amounted to 241.5 million USD as of February, 2013, rankingit 14th in the country’s foreign investor list.
It is also Myanmar’s fourth largest trading partner in ASEAN after Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
The two countries have set a target to lift bilateral trade to one billion USD in 2016.
