New Delhi (VNA) - Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and his Indonesian counterpart, Joko Widodo, who is on an official visit to Afghanistan, have held talks, discussing issues of shared concern.

Ghani expressed his hope Afghanistan would benefit from Indonesia's experience in uniting the country's clerics and confronting terrorism.

For his part, Widodo said his government will establish an Islamic centre in Afghanistan and continue to stand beside the country.

Indonesia is ready to help Afghanistan with various projects, he added.
