Lam Dong (VNA) - The international cycling championship Dalat Victory Challenge 2017 kicked off its first stage in Lac Duong district in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on March 24.
Jointly organised by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Sports Bicycle and Motorbike Federation, and Vietnam MTB Series, the event draws the participation of 130 athletes, including 18 foreigners from the US, Germany, Canada, Malaysia and Singapore.
The competition is divided into men and women categories.
The men’s event is designed for age groups of between 12-18 years, 19-40 years, 41-50 years, and 51-65 years, while the women’s event is for professional and amateur cyclists.
Its final stage will take place at the Love Valley tourist site in Dat Lat city on March 26.-VNA
