Hanoi (VNA) -
The first international-standard library for children in Vietnam opened at the National Library of Vietnam in Hanoi on November 16.

The 240sq.m library provides about 2,000 books in Vietnamese, Korean and English. The library was designed as a "tree of wishes" to attract children to a wide range of cultural activities such as traditional instrument playing and film screens.

"The library is important to children and their families," said Director of the National Library Kieu Thuy Nga, at the launching ceremony.
