An Israeli film week will take place at the Hanoi Cinema Club in Hanoi from Feb. 21-25, according to the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam .
Five feature films, namely “Foul Gesture”, “Aviva, my love”, “Kadosh”, “Afula express” and “Passover fever”, will be screened for free during the event.
Of the films, “Kadosh” was nominated for the Golden Palm Award at the Cannes Film Festival in 1999. The film tells about prejudices and strict religious rules that push women into unhappy marriage.
Along with the event, Tzahi Grad, director of “Foul Gesture”, will hold a get-together with Hanoi audience./.
