About 10 panels carrying the images of the most important new Italian architecture is being displayed in an exhibition in downtown Hanoi.

Entitled Small Utopias, the exhibition features examples of architecture selected by MAXXI Architecture, the National Museum of 21st Century Arts, which is a national museum of contemporary art and architecture in Rome.

The museum is managed by a foundation created by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage. It was designed as a multidisciplinary space by Zaha Hadid and is committed to experimentation and innovation in the arts and architecture.

The images were selected through a process based on the three factors of authors, projects and themes.

The introduction of the authors and their biographies portrays the training of Italian architects and how they integrate with the cultural and global professional scenarios today.

The presentation of the projects highlights a number of absolutely outstanding examples, very often executed on the commission of a mixture of private and institutional clients.

The theme factor pays attention to topics related to the latest ideas of research, understood as expressive, social, scientific and technological as well as environmental innovations.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition, which will run till March 2.-VNA
