An Italian non-governmental organisation, Care the People, granted 85 scholarships worth over 93 million VND to disadvantaged pupils and students in the central city of Da Nang on Oct. 10.
The scholarship is part of a long-term scholarship programmes launched by the Italian charity association to encourage disadvantaged students in the city to pursuit higher education.
The scholarship is granted twice every year since the 2003-2004 school year.
Since its launching, more than 800 students in the city have been granted scholarships worth over 1 billion VND./.
