The Japanese government will provide non-refundable aid worth 166,000 USD to help the central province of Nghe An to build a medical station and a high school.
Two contracts to this effect were signed in Hanoi on Dec. 15 between the Japanese Ambassador and representatives from Nghe An province.
About 86,000 USD of the aid will be used to construct a junior high school in Tay Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.
The remaining sum of 80,000 USD will be allocated to build a medical station in Quynh Hau commune, Quynh Luu district.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Ambassador Mitsuo Sakaba expressed his hope that the two projects funded by the Japanese government would contribute to improving healthcare and education in the province’s two most difficult communes.
