Japan will support a project to enhance the training of technical teachers at the Hanoi University of Industry, according to the outcome of a meeting in Hanoi on December 25.

Accordingly, between 2013 and 2016, Japan will help build training programmes to improve capacity of lecturers in the fields of mechanical engineering, electronics and electrical engineeringof the university following Japanese models.

The university will share knowledge and technological know-how with other domestic educational and vocational training establishments through collaboration in the implementation of the project’s activities.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh said the Vietnam-Japan cooperation has developed comprehensively in many fields, especially in human resources training.
The Japanese supported project for technical vocational training teachers is of great significance in developing high-quality human resources for Vietnam, he said.-VNA
