Meeting with Politburo member and head of theCPV Central Committee’s Commission for Organisation To Huy Rua in Hanoion March 26, Ogata said the relationship between the two parties hasbeen lifted to a greater heights since JCP Chairman Kazuo Shii’s visitto Vietnam last September.
He also cited the fifth theoreticaldiscussion held by the two parties in Tokyo recently and the meetingbetween the JCP Chairman and President Truong Tan Sang during thelatter’s visit to Japan earlier this month as evidence of the finerelationship between the two parties.
Rua congratulated theJCP on its past achievements, particularly the successful hosting of its26th Congress. He said he is confident in its progress in the comingtime.
He said the JCP Vice Chairman’s visit will enrich the extensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan.
Earlier, head of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for ExternalRelations Hoang Binh Quan held talks with the Japanese guest, duringwhich both sides reached consensus on facilitating the exchange ofdelegations and information, and working closely together atmultilateral party forums.
They will also push forward links between their youth unions and media organisations along the way.
The Japanese delegation will leave Vietnam on March 28.-VNA
