Customers of the low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific will be offered special discounts for international and domestic flights departing between March and April, 2015, announced the airline on February 26.

Specifically,tickets for Hanoi-Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City-Tuy Hoa (central Phu Yenprovince), which are scheduled to begin in March, cost 199,000 VND (9.3USD), and tickets for other domestic routes will have a 50 percentdiscount.

Under the promotion programme, fare prices for Ho ChiMinh City-Singapore routes start from 199,000 VND (9.3 USD) and otherdomestic flights, including Ho Chi Minh City-Hanoi/ Dong Hoi/ Thanh Hoaand Buon Ma Thuot-Thanh Hoa/Hai Phong, will be available from 499,000VND (23.4 USD).

Tickets are available on www.jetstar.com from11am on February 27 through March 1, 2015. Online payment is requiredat the time of purchase to be eligible for promotional fares.

HCM City to use municipal budget for Metro Line No. 2 project

The Metro Line No. 2 project has an estimated investment of nearly 47.9 trillion VND (2 billion USD) and has nearly completed land clearance, at 99.8%. The NA’s Resolution 188 authorises HCM City to develop seven metro lines spanning 355 kilometres over the next decade, with preliminary total investment for the 2025-2035 phase estimated at 40.2 billion USD.
