Judges, deputy chief judges of supreme court appointed

Hanoi (VNA) –President Tran Dai Quang on June 21 handed over appointment decisions to newdeputy chief judges and judges of the Supreme People’s Court.

Under the decisions, NguyenTri Tue, a judge of the Supreme People’s Court, is promoted to deputy chiefjudge of the court, while Le Hong Quang, Deputy Secretary of the PartyCommittee of the TienGiang province, will work as a judge at the SupremePeople’s Court and take the position of the deputy chief judge of the court.

Nguyen Van Tien, deputy chief judge of the Hanoi People’s Court, will takeoffice as a judge of the Supreme People’s Court.

The State President,who is also head of the Central Committee for Judicial Reform, congratulatedthe newly-accredited judges, while assigning them new tasks.

He urged them to restlesslyimprove their professional ethics and skills, whileovercoming economic temptation and keep themselves immune against inducementsin all circumstances.-VNA

Truong Sa voters cast early ballots for NA, local council elections

National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong on March 7 led a working delegation to meet with the Election Committee of An Giang to inspect and supervise preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th legislature and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 tenure.

Bru–Van Kieu community in Quang Tri gear up for early voting

According to the provincial Election Committee, three polling stations in Truong Son commune – located in Hoi Ray, Nuoc Dang and Doc May villages – will organise voting on March 8, seven days before the nationwide election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 tenure, to make it easier for residents in remote areas where travel remains difficult to cast their ballots.
