Khmer boat racing festival draws crowds

The Ooc Om Boc – Ngo Boat Racing Festival is a long-standing and distinctive cultural tradition of the Khmer ethnic community in southern Vietnam. It embodies the joy, unity, and close bond among ethnic groups across the region. On November 4–5, 61 male and female boat racing teams competed in a lively and spirited atmosphere as large crowds gathered to cheer them on.
