He asked for more support from ministries and sectors for Kien Giang as well as Ha Tien city to fully tap their potential and strengths for future socio-economic development.

Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the Ha Tien city People’s Committee pledged to build Ha Tien into a dynamic city in the Mekong Delta region.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Pham Vu Hong asked the municipal People’s Committee to soon build plans and programmes for urban development, call for investment, foster tourism development and border trade, and take advantages of support and cooperation from border localities of Cambodia to serve its development.-VNA
