Vietnam’s Central Highland province of Kon Tum and Laos’ Attapeu province have completed the planting of 33 markers on a border portion running through their localities.

The planting as well as quality of the markers, from No. 760 to 792,were ensured to meet the progress and standards set by the twocountries, said a conference reviewing the work in Kon Tum city on April25.

Phu Tho: 200kg bomb safely relocated, detonated

According to a report by the Phu Tho Military Command, local residents spotted the bomb on August 31 in the Da River after the river water receded, exposing it beneath mud and soil on the riverbed. The bomb remained intact, including its fuse, and was located about 300m from a residential area.
