Visitors to the art exhibition entitled "Vi cuoc song la vay" in Hanoi (Photo: qdnd.vn) Hanoi (VNA) - An art exhibition entitled Vi cuoc song la vay (AsYears Go By) to celebrate 25 years since the establishment of diplomaticrelations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea is now open inthe capital city of Hanoi.
The exhibition displays paintings by Vietnamese artists Trinh Tuan, Nguyen NgocQuan, Vu Huu Nhung and Le Anh Vu. It is organised by the Korean Culture Centreand held at 49 Nguyen Du street, Hai Ba Trung district.
The centre wishes to show its appreciation toward Vietnamese artists, thesignificant chains in two sides cultural exchange work between two countriesvia the exhibition.
The exhibition includes 30 artworks painted on materials like metal, pottery,lacquer, oil and acrylic on all-silk fabric, which show multi-dimesional andvivid portrayals of each author’s personal experiences.
Tuan is an artist working with laccol and traditional techniques. Quan isversatile with various materials like water painting, acrylics and oilpainting. Meanwhile, Nhung is well-known by his brand Gom Nhung with the Phu Langtraditional steeling technique and Vu is a sculpturist working in variousmaterials.
The exhibition runs until January 6, 2018.-VNA
