Quang Nam (VNA) – Coach Park Hang-seo of the Vietnam national football team on December 16 announced he will donate the 100,000 USD he was rewarded for charity activities in the host country.
Speaking at a ceremony in Quang Nam province to receive the money from a donor following the victory of the team a day earlier, the Republic of Korea’s coach thanked Chairman of the Hoang Anh Gia Lai group Doan Nguyen Duc for inviting him to work in the position, which he said had created a chance for him to live and associate himself with the country, people and football of Vietnam.
He also thanked donor Tran Ba Duong, Chairman of the Truong Hai –Thaco group, for the generous rewards to him so far, including the 100,000 USD given after Vietnam championed the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018.
