Part of the revenue will go towards supporting Vietnamese athletes at the Asian Games and Asian Paragames held in Incheon this year.
The number of Vietnamese tourists to the Republic of Korea has been increasing in recent years, so industry representatives felt they should encourage Vietnam, said Kang Sung-ghil, executive director of the KTO in Vietnam.
"We also call on partners to join us in the campaign," he said.
In the framework of the campaign, other events will be organised such as a writing contest for Vietnamese people who have travelled to Korea, TV game shows and flash mob dancing contests.
The KTO also co-organised performances and presentations to introduce Korean art and promote new tourism products at the Vietnam International Travel Mart 2014, held in Hanoi on April 3-6.-VNA
