Giau made the announcement at a national video-teleconference in Hanoi on April 24 to collect comments of NA deputies on the draft law.
The amendments of the law have to resolve pressing issues that raised public concerns, especially land reclamation, compensation and support for resettlement, and solutions to problems arising from the enactment process, said Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Minh Quang.
NA deputies proposed law makers making clear the issue on land reclamation for socio-economic development, regulations on land use for wrong purposes, and maintenance of livelihoods for people having their land taken for other purposes, and compensation prices.-VNA
