Seven Cambodians were killed in the first five months of this year, down 65 percent compared with 20 deaths over the same period last year.

In addition, landmines injured 51 others, down 36 percent compared with 80 injured people at the same period last year, it said.
The report said that from 1979 to May this year, up to 19,669 people were killed by landmines and 44,592 others were injured.
Cambodia is one of the world's worst countries suffered from landmines. An estimated 4-6 million landmines and other munitions have been left over from three decades of war and internal conflicts that ended in 1998.
