The local authorities in northern Ha Giang province have confirmed that a major landslide in the early morning of April 27 killed three children aged under 10 and left another one and a woman missing.
The dead have been identified as Vang Seo Sai, two years old, Vang Seo Du, 10 years old, and Vang Thi Chu, eight years old. The missing are nine-year-old Vang Seo Chi and a 21 year old woman named Vang Thi Mai.
