Leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh on birth anniversary
A delegation of the Party Central Committee, State President, National Assembly (NA), Government and Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee on May 18 paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum on the occasion of his 131st birth anniversary (May 19).

Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation of the Party Central Committee, StatePresident, National Assembly (NA), Government and Vietnam Fatherland Front(VFF) Central Committee on May 18 paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh athis Mausoleum on the occasion of his 131st birth anniversary (May 19).
The delegation includes State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, PrimeMinister Pham Minh Chinh, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, and President of the VFFCentral Committee Do Van Chien, among others.
They expressed their profound gratitude towards the lateleader who had devoted his whole life to the nation’s revolutionary cause.
The delegation then laid a wreath in tribute to fallencombatants at Heroic Martyrs’ Monument on Bac Son street.
Also on the day, delegations of the Central MilitaryCommission and Ministry of National Defence; Central Public Security Commissionand Ministry of Public Security; and the Party Committee, People’s Council and People’sCommittee of Hanoi, also laid wreaths in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh athis Mausoleum and fallen soldiers at the Heroic Martyrs’ Monument./.

A document and photo exhibition on late President Ho Chi Minh was opened at the ATK Dinh Hoa revolutionary base relic site in northern Thai Nguyen province on May 13.
The Canada – Vietnam Friendship Society (CVFS) on May 15 held an online seminar featuring the life and career of late President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of his 131st birthday (May 19).
On the occasion of the 131st birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19) and the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils 2021-2026 (May 23), Professor, Dr Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee, has written an article titled “Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path towards socialism in Vietnam.”
Late President Ho Chi Minh is a great inspiration for Vietnamese stamp artists with his image repeatedly showing up on thousands of postage stamps issued by the Vietnam Post.
