Congratulations extended to Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee

Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of China, the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries has continued to achieve important outcomes, bringing tangible benefits to their people and making a positive contribution to peace, stability and development in the region and the world.

Hanoi (VNA) – Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee, has sent a congratulatory message to Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries (January 18, 1950–2026).

“On behalf of the VFF Central Committee and in my own name, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and most sincere sentiments to Comrade Chairman Wang Huning and all members of the CPPCC National Committee,” the message read.

The message noted that over the past 76 years, the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and China have been continuously strengthened and developed, becoming a valuable asset nurtured by generations of leaders and people of the two countries. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of China, the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries has continued to achieve important outcomes, bringing tangible benefits to their people and making a positive contribution to peace, stability and development in the region and the world.

The VFF Central Committee highly values the role and important contributions of the CPPCC National Committee in promoting exchanges and friendly cooperation between the two countries' people, thereby enhancing mutual understanding and strengthening the social foundation for the sustainable development of Vietnam–China relations, it said.

“I am confident that on the basis of the motto of ‘friendly neighbourliness, comprehensive cooperation, long-term stability and looking towards the future’, and the spirit of being ‘both comrades and brothers’, the friendly and cooperative ties between our two organisations will continue to grow in the time ahead, making a practical contribution to further deepening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the Parties, States and people of the two countries,” Hoai stated.

The message concluded with wishes for the CPPCC National Committee’s further development and for the everlasting Vietnam–China friendship./.
