Logo competition launched to mark Vietnam-Australia diplomatic ties

The Australian embassy in Vietnam and the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts launched a logo design competition in Hanoi on October 10 to mark the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Australian embassy in Vietnam and the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts launched a logo design competition in Hanoi on October 10 to mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Australia diplomatic ties.

Speaking at the event, Australian Ambassador Craig Chittick said since the establishment of diplomatic ties on February 26, 1973, Vietnam and Australia have witnessed extensive development of relations in diverse areas, including economic partnership, security, renovation and creativity.

He expressed hope that the event will afford contestants a chance to tap their creativity and understand more about the two countries.

The competition will start from October 10 to November 30, 2017 with unlimited entries by each contestant. Further information could be found on the website http://bit.ly/thilogo45namAustraliaVietnam.

The winner will receive an IPad New 9.7 2017 worth 10 million VND (440 USD) and an English study voucher worth the same value in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City.

The most favourite logo will be voted on the Facebook page “Australia in Vietnam” and its designer will receive an English study voucher worth 5 million VND.

Those designing the top 10 logos chosen by the organising board will be awarded with a collection of IELTS training materials, a kangaroo-printed helmet and a certificate of merit signed by the Australian Ambassador each. - VNA
