Logo unveiled to mark Vietnam People's Army’s founding anniversary

The Ministry of National Defence has officially announced the logo design for use in popularisation activities in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the All-People's National Defence Day (December 22, 1989 - 2024).

Hanoi (VNA) - The Ministry of National Defence has officially announced the logo design for use in popularisation activities in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the All-People's National Defence Day (December 22, 1989 - 2024).

It is designed to be harmonious and steadfast, expressing pride, honor, and righteousness, with the spirit of combat readiness to defend the country's peace, independence, and freedom.

It aims to widely disseminate and educate officers and soldiers throughout the army, and people from all walks of life about the glorious historical tradition of the army throughout its 80-year building, combat, and development.

The logo features prominently the image of the army’s flag of victory - a traditional and iconic image to resemble bird wings – a symbol of peace, along with a sturdy hand gripping a rifle to safeguard the fatherland - representing soldiers of the army./.
