Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of its Commission for Information and Education, cut the ribbon to open the exhibition “Ho Chi Minh – Sketches of Portrait” in Hanoi on May 7.
Historical evidence proved that the Vietnamese revolution under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh is a decisive factor in the victory of the national resistance war against the French invaders during the 1946-1954 period.
On June 11, 1948, President Ho Chi Minh issued an appeal for patriotic emulation. That has strongly encouraged the people to emulate in all aspects of social life, creating great strength for the whole Party, people and army to overcome hardships and lead the Vietnamese revolution to the victory.
