A burial ceremony for the remains of 11 Vietnamese martyrs found in Cambodia took place in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on May 30.
The remains were unearthed in the Cambodian province of Mudukuri last year.
Since 2000, Dak Lak Military Command has found the remains of 582 Vietnamese soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the anti-US war and in Cambodian battlefields of the past.
In a separate search, the Military Command of central Thua Thien-Hue province exhumed the remains of nine soldiers in Huong Thuy town, where up to 20 martyrs are believed to have been buried during the war against the US.
These remains will be brought to the town memorial for a burial service.-VNA
