Messages of congratulations on CPV’s 80th anniversary

The message from the Lao People’sDemocratic Party Central Committee praised the CPV’s leadership instrengthening the national unity to overcome all difficulties andrecord glorious victories of important significance to the nation andthe world in the struggle for national independence and reunification.

“The CPV, founded and cultivated by the Great President Ho Chi Minh,has successfully led the people to steadily advance towards socialism,”stated the Lao People’s Democratic Party Central Committee.

The message concluded with satisfaction over the constant developmentof special friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation betweenthe two Parties, States and peoples, describing the relationship as“blossoming and bringing fruits every day in the practical interest ofour two peoples.”

The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee conveyed “mostsincere and warmest greetings” to the CPV and the Vietnamese people inits message, “the Party and Government of China, now as before, alwaysconsider the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam a commonvaluable asset of the two Parties, States and peoples.”

The CPC leadership pledged to strengthen the friendly relations withVietnam to meet the “common aspiration and vested interest” of the twonations.

They described this year’s celebration of the 60th anniversary ofdiplomatic relations and the “Year of China-Vietnam Friendship” asopportunities for China to join hands with Vietnam in maintainingtraditional friendship, strengthening mutual trust and deepeningcooperation of mutual interests.

The CPC leadership also pledged to broaden and develop thecomprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam and bring bilateralrelations to new heights.

The message from the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) reads “We highlyvalue and are proud of the fine development of cooperative relationsbetween our two Parties. It is an invaluable common asset, which hasbeen fostered and consolidated by generations of the two Parties’leadership through different stages of history and has proven to be adecisive factor to the success of the national construction and defencein the two countries”.

Kim Jong-il, the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea andChairman of the National Defence Commission, wrote in his message toCPV General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, “through its long development, theCPV has led the Vietnamese people to overcome difficulties andchallenges, win the struggle for national independence, nationalreunification and socialist construction.”

“I strongly believe that the friendship and cooperation between the twoParties and peoples will certainly further develop,” added Kim Jong-il.

He wished the CPV record greater achievements in the socialist cause.

In his greetings to his CPV counterpart, Nong Duc Manh, the CommunistParty of Russian Federation Chairman Gennady Zyuganov congratulated theCPV’s “unbelievable great” victories in the struggle against foreignaggressors for national independence.

“The communists in the two countries are also linked with honestfriendship and solidarity of comrades-in-arms,” he emphasised.

The message from the Communist Party of India-Marxist stated, “theCPI-M believes that with people’s support, the CPV will advance thecountry forwards in all fields, turning Vietnam into a prosperoussocialist nation. We also believe that the CPV will further strengthenthe socialist fruits and fulfil the targets as rich people, a strongcountry and an equal, democratic and civilised society.”

The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the United Russia party, BorisGryzlov, said in his message to CPV General Secretary Nong Duc Manh,“we highly value the partnership, respect and mutual confidence betweenthe United Russia and the CPV, which have been strengthened andpromoted through the agreement of cooperation between the two Partiessigned at the 11th Congress of the United Russia”.

He said he believed that on the basis of the agreement, relationsbetween the two parties would constantly develop in the interest of theRussian and Vietnamese people.

In his message to the CPV Central Committee, Communist Party of BrazilChairman Jose Renato Rabelo expressed admiration over the heroism ofthe Vietnamese people under the leadership of the CPV and President HoChi Minh for their glorious victories over imperialism in theirstruggle for national independence, progress and socialism.

He expressed satisfaction at the traditional friendly and effective relations between the two Parties.

“Vietnam is always an encouragement to revolutionaries over the worldin the struggle for freedom and socialism,” concluded the Braziliancommunist leader.

The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) Secretary General, MyjahidulIslam Selim, said in his greetings to CPV General Secretary Nong DucManh that the CPB always respects the traditional relations with theCPV and the Vietnamese people.

“All achievements recorded by the Vietnamese people in the struggleagainst imperialism and in the socialist construction under theleadership of the CPV are a great encouragement to the progressivepeople all over the world,” emphasised the Bangladesh party leader./.
