Vietnam ’s Military Bank (MB) presented houses to three disadvantaged Lao veterans in Saythany district, Vientiane , on April 8.
The total fund for the construction, 300 million VND, is donated by MB.
MB established its first overseas branch in Laos on December 12, 2010.
After three operation months, MB Laos reported total asset value at 16.6 million USD, capital mobilisation at 4.1 million USD and loans at 250,000 USD.
In the future, the Laos-based MB will boost investment in telecom infrastructure, domestic trade and import-export activities, consumer goods production and transport infrastructure to help improve Lao people’s living conditions, as well as the country’s deeper integration into the world economy./.
