The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has unveiled a database on Vietnamese land and people, which is set to serve research and studies.

Hanoi (VNA) –
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has unveiled adatabase on Vietnamese land and people, which is set to serve research and studies.

Thedatabase at  was built for two years as ajoint effort of the ministry’s Library Department, public and privatelibraries, publishing houses, relevant agencies, and leading experts. 

Withmore than 100,000 MARC (machine-readable-Cataloging) records, including over 5,000digital and digitalized documents, the database is accessible by any Vietnameseand foreigner.

Thematerials, including books, newspapers, magazines, photos and video clips,provide an insight into Vietnam and its 63 cities and provinces, scenic spots,famous people and festivals./.
